Support for Communities
Many of our clients are already in difficult and complex circumstances as poor/low income, formerly incarcerated, single-parent, substance-abuse prone, over-policed, and marginalized families. Often, there are additional circumstances with Municipal Courts, Child Protective Services and other social pressures squeezing these families. We have three offices on the West Side of San Antonio serving parts of District 1, District 3 and District 5 which are the central, West and South sides.
Shelter, Food & Clothing
Throught the Family Strenghtening program, families in need can receive assistance to help them with basic needs such as, shelter, food, clothing , and any other immediate need through Case Management and Margaret’s Place. Through the light case management services, assistance can be a one-time visit to multiple visits throughout the year for toiltetries from Margaret’s Place or referals to other programs within the agency as well as outside organizations.
